Who says ties have to be boring? When I decided to make a stack of colorful ties for my choir students this year, a friend donated an old tie of his to my learning process. I took his apart, used it and a brown paper bag to make a pattern, then used the pattern to make all the choir ties! At that point, I was on a roll … so I kept going and made a handful of ties from other fabrics I happened to have on hand. Just in time for Christmas!
