I love blue/gold color combos. Something about sand and sea perhaps? Sun and sky? I don’t know but I love it.
Another summer, another baby blanket to make. My sister just had her fourth boy. Since I would be heading her way by July, I threw the yarn and needles in my luggage in June and did a few squares at each stop along the way. I chose the granny square because it’s a classic and (surprisingly) I haven’t done it very much. Piecing them all together also made me feel like I was quilting even though I was crocheting.
